[Philmont]: Vote for Scout to Cut Ribbon for Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

Wanted to share the following request with all of you from the Scout
Executive, Susquehanna Council. Macys has three finalists for the honor to
cut the ribbon to open the Thanksgiving Day parade next month. Macys has
decided to put the decision as to who is selected up for a vote at Yahoo.
One of the three finalists is a Scout - Brent Paucke. Brent received the
Honor Medal for an act of heroism in a school shooting incident.

Brent Paucke, Troop 31, Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania, is one of three
finalists NATIONWIDE to have the opportunity to cut the ribbon to open the
2001 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City on November 22.
 
Brent is a recipient of the Honor Medal from the Boy Scouts of America. The
award was presented by Susquehanna Council #533 in April. Brent's heroism
involved his helping to avert more serious injury in an incident at his high
school when a student shot and wounded another student in the school
cafeteria.
 
Brent is also a Brotherhood Member of Woapeu Sisilija Lodge #343, Order of
the Arrow.
