Subject: PSA-LIST: Macy's Day Parade Opening
I know this is off topic of Philmont......but it is
about a Scout and with all of the negative publicity,
it is GREAT to help with postive publicity when we
can.
Brent Paucke, from Susquehanna Council, received the
Honor Medal from the Boy Scouts of America for his
quick thinking in helping to avert more serious injury
in the situation in which a student at his high school
shot and wounded another student.
Brent is one of three finalists NATIONWIDE to open the
Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. The
way the selection will be made is to vote for the
finalists and the one with the most votes gets
elected.
VOTING MUST BE DONE BY OCTOBER 31. Please go to the
Web Site and VOTE FOR BRENT! PLEASE TELL YOUR
FRIENDS AND SCOUTING ASSOCIATES.
