The list is back. As a First Timer in 2001, the information, suggestions, and
encouragement I received from the scouts and scouters on the Phil-List were
extremely valuable in making our first trek successful.
At the risk of sounding boastful ( not my intention ) I was successful in
reserving a trek for 2003. We had 11 phones going and I hit pay dirt at 10:38 qm
CDT. Departure date is July 23, 2003. Latter than we had hoped, but we were
prepared to take whatever we could get. It is still incredible to me that over a
million calls are received during the call-in period.
I look forward to reading more great suggestions and stories about past Philmont
experiences.
