At Southern NJ Council the Advisors fees are the same as the Scouts.
The Contingent Coordinator pays the same amount, also.
The only way to subsidize the Advisors' fees is to raise the boys' fees,
therefore, the Advisors have elected on each of the last two contingents to
pay the same amount.
It is hoped that there will be enough left after the 2002 Contingent's books
are closed that a donation to the 2003 Contingent may be made that would pay
that Contingent Coordinator's fee. However, at the moment there is a
discrepancy in the records at Council HQ preventing this.
In case you are wondering what primary position in Scouting would best befit
a Council Contingent Coordinator -
I am a Cub Scout Roundtable Commissioner -
I start psyching adults and Scouts up for Philmont as soon as they are in
the program.
They all know Mr. Lyons goes and after knowing me for umpteen years they all
want to go with me!!
