Mark,
  I have never heard of traveling in public anyother way. Maybe when it is
just the group it is ok. Representing scouting this is one of our great
oppurtunities. Scouts should be pleased to be seen in uniform it is good for
scouting and identifies the boys as being unique individuals of charachter
