We too, have received special consideration and discounts because we were
easily identified as a scout troop. I also believe our guys are better
behaved when in uniform. At minimum, if we know we are going to be setting
up camp as soon as we get someplace, we at least wear our troop t-shirts,
but the field shirt is certainly the way to go, ESPECIALLY if you have a
contingent made up of scouts from different troops. Make it a requirement
from the get-go and it shouldn't be a problem.
