Is there any source of information that provides the mileages between camps
on the 35 treks at Philmont? Most of the information I've found shows each
trek's total mileage, but there is no mention of the distance between camps.
That could come in handy when choosing a trek and for planning purposes.

A pet topic of mine, since I realized in 2000 that what little information
that was published was in many instances inconsistent (or flat out wrong.)
Many, though far less than a couple years ago, of the routes in the TREKS
book still report widely different totals on different pages. For instance,
in TREKS 2004 itinerary 7 is listed as 62 miles on page 36 with the
schematic map and profile, and as 52 miles on the "crew leaders copy" on
page 37 and elsewhere.
In 2003 I had access to the Philmont Interactive Ranger and looked at every
day of every trek on it. The results, in both .pdf and as an Excel
spreadsheet are posted in Section 3.5 of Selden's list of pages, and
elsewhere. I am in the process of updating it for the 2004 changes to
routes, but my normal timeline is to have it done by the end of the year so
it can be given to the Advisors for the Patriots' Path Council contingent in
January.
