>Is there any source of information that provides the mileages between
camps
Seldon Ball's website (http://www.lns.cornell.edu/~seb/philmont.html)
has a listing of the 2003 treks at:
http://www.lns.cornell.edu/~seb/philmonttrekscomparison-2003.pdf
However, there is more than one way to get from one camp to another and
your mileage might vary. And it you embarck upon an "exploratory
adventure" on the way, your mileage might vary significantly. Some
routes are prettier or just more fun than others and since many of us
only get one shot at hiking Philmont, what's another mile or two in a
day matter?
