RE: [Philmont]: 2004 Itineraries

Hello,

A Google search for [Phlmont 2004 treks] turned up

http://www.danyoder.com/philmont/trek.asp

where there is information on the 2004 treks. Repeat this search and
explore other links to locate the information you seek.

There is also an effort underway to build a "Virtual Tour" of Philmont at

http://groups.msn.com/PhilmontFans

This effort is very beta but has great potential, as you will be able to
"click" your way through an itinerary to get some idea of what it may
actually be like from the visuals, rather than just from text description.

Anyone on this list who can contribute to the "Virtual Tour" is encouraged
to do so. No one has seen all of Philmont, not even the rangers, but over
time a tremendous resource can be created if many contribute.

Waite Phillips donated the Philmont properties so that the "many, rather
than the few" would be able to benefit from the Philmont experience.

It is fitting that the "many, rather than the few" give back by taking on a
piece of the Virtual Tour project to make it the tremendous resource it has
the potential to become.

Best wishes,

Joe Jansen
