Ed Warner is the person who recruits the geologists and other natural
science professionals who work in Philmont's backcountry during the summer.
They are all volunteers who spend a week at places like French Henry, Baldy
Town, and Cypher's Mine helping with program activities.

A Philmont trivia question for you. Edward Warner just donated $25.7
million to his alma mater, Colorado State University. He is wealthy
oilman. In his resume, it says he manages a volunteer program at Philmont.
