Re: [Philmont]: tents

When I used a Philtent, admittedly a 10 years ago, they were impossible to
sit up in. VERY DRY. As I have noticed since then, they haven't changed much.
I found it very annoying to enter, leave, and do all other tent functions in
a horizontal position. Very annoying, so I was told, to my tent partner also.
(I get up a lot!!) Take your own if you can. We buy tents for Philmont,
use them for practice hikes and the trek, and then give them to the troop to
use. Works for us.
