One decision I've never understood is that if you are going to take only
one, to take the mug and use it for food. It can't be licked clean.

Though my crews have never used a common set of stackable bowls, that is an
idea I first saw posted a couple years ago (maybe on the Canoe List?) and
one that the sounds like it would have advantages (mentioned in prior posts)
over each crewmember carrying their own.

Me? I carry both a lexan bowl and a lexan mug (to mix Gatorade, since I
never put mix into my water bottles, and coffee). Tom Wills gave me one of
the "fold flat" bowls a couple weeks ago. Have not had a chance to try it
yet...
