Re: [Philmont]: 2005 treks

Just a point of curiosity, would anyone have a trek book from 1974? I
attended Philmont as a youth and wanted to compare the trek I took back then
with the one I took in 2002 and 2004. I remember that in 1974, Lovers Leap
was our starting camp and we had stops at baldy and beaubien. Thank you

The above link is another of my projects, an extension of Julian Love's work
(http://www.troop116.org/philmont/phlitinxref.htm) tracking changes to the
routes since 1999 to prior years. On Earl's Troop 764 site the treks that
were changed in 2005 compared to 2004 are highlighted in yellow. I
mentioned the more significant changes in a prior message - the spreadsheet
in the link, as well as Julian's link, shows all the changes.

In addition, both Earl and Julian have graciously posted my detailed
analysis of each prior year for the past several years - the link to the
2004 Excel version on Earl's Troop 764 site is
http://www.troop764.org/Philmont/phil_treks_2004.xls. It is also there in a
.pdf version. On Julian's Troop 116 site http://www.troop116.org/ - go to
"Camping and High Adventure" link on the left, then the "Philmont Scout
Ranch" link across the top, and scroll down to near the bottom.

Both of their troop websites are worth a visit.
