RE: [Philmont]: Stove fuel?

The only FUEL available in the back country is the white gas.

All cartridge type fuel must be carried IN by the crew and empty cartridges
must also be carried OUT by the crew. You can have this type of fuel mailed
to Philmont ahead of time. It cannot by transported by any public
transportation --- plane or train, etc.

We have always used Whisperlites and white gas at PHILMONT with no problems
