20 minutes? We had our meals eaten, human sumped our bowls, a load of wash
done and solved world peace in 20 minutes.
The Hawaiian meal has been beaten like a dead chicken - sounds like it
wasn't cooked right - nothing to do with time. If you leave out the Ramen
seasoning you don't get the confluence of 2 different spice collisions. The
other half of the meal has its own spices mixed in - when you add them both
- ker-chow! Save the Ramen spice for a cup of hot broth or the swap box.
A lot of people missed out on a respectable meal due to hearsay and no
cooking investigation. Read the ingredients and do some deductive
"seasoning."

As a general policy, I insist that all our Crew meals be cooked for at
least 20 minutes. They are usually far superior to "merely" rehydrated,
even though that is all the directions request.
