[philmont] new question

We had a diabetic scout in 2002. While he now uses an insulin pump, he
used injections on our '02 Trek. I don't think Philmont has any
restrictions for diabetic scouts. They were very cooperative with our
crew member's food requirements. His mother packaged special food,
which was given to Logistics, each package with the date of our
scheduled food pick-up . Philmont delivered them to each of the
commissaries were we had scheduled food pick-up's. We had a couple of
days where his blood sugar was low, so we insisted on regular testing.
With a pump, this should not be much of a problem.
