Although I felt moved to correct the statements of the venerable Dr. Bob, I
am reluctant to republish Scouts-L material to this list due to the fact
that a lot of pholks on this list have (for their own reasons) abandoned
scouts-L. I would encourage those interested to look this stuff up on the
scouts-l archives (accessable via the web to non-subscribers, I think)
rather than risking turning this list into another Scouts-L (which, in my
view is not a bad thing, but obviously opinions differ).
