Yes, some of us had to suffer greatly by spending a week at Philmont when
there were no Scouts there. :-)
My wife and I also spent two nights at the Casa Del Gavilan so our
suffering was even more than Steve's.
This was my 7th Autumn Adventure but the first time I've returned home
with photos of a Texas flag flying over Beaubien, Camping HQ and even
being held by a couple of guys standing at the top of the Tooth of Time.
Returning home to the "real world" has been somewhat of a downer,
especially when comparing the traffic in and around Cimarron to what I saw
locally this morning.
