The list is slow so to "honor" John's motherland ........
Poor old Boudreaux, he had never been to the casinos. His friend,
Thibodeaux, decided on day to take Boo to Lake Charles to see what he was
missing. Boudreaux was all excited, getting to go to the big city and
all.
When they got to the casino, Boudreaux said he wanted to play the slot
machines. Thibodeaux told Boudreaux, "Boo, you go to this side of the
room and play these machines. Keep playing them until you find one
that's hot. I'll go to the other side of the room and do the same."
Thibodeaux went to his side of the room and played, and played, and
played. Nothing. Money went in but none came out. He finally decided
Boudreaux had seen enough and went to get him to go.
When he got to the other side of the room, there sat Boudreaux with a pile
of quarters so big a circus dog couldn't jump over. Thibodeaux couldn't
believe his eyes. "Boo," he said, "how on earth did you get so lucky?
I've been playing all morning and haven't won a single thing."
"Well," Boudreaux said," I did like you said. I played all these
machines. Most of them didn't pay off very good. But I finally found one
over in the corner that was hot. Everytime I put in a dollar bill, four
quarters came out. See how much I won!"
