I know it'll be about a 5 hour drive. Should be pretty easy after you get
around Denver. In between is Colorado Springs (about 1 1/2 hours from the
airport.) You have the Air Force Academy there, Garden of the Gods, Pikes
Peak (which you can get to the top of on the Cog Railway if you have about 4
hours at least) and plenty of other things. Depends on how much time you
have. Pueblo also has a few things but nothing like Denver or Colorado
Springs. Course, there's plenty of hiking around here. :-) I can help you in
the Springs. I live here. We went to Philmont last summer. It's about 3 1/2
hours from the north of town.
