In Denver there is the US Mint. I love Colorado too.
My son (an Eagle scout) goes to Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado,
a business major.
About 2,400 students, 30 minutes from Crested Butte ski area. I really like
to visit him.............

>I know it'll be about a 5 hour drive. Should be pretty easy after you get

>Peak (which you can get to the top of on the Cog Railway if you have about
>4 hours at least) and plenty of other things. Depends on how much time you
>have. Pueblo also has a few things but nothing like Denver or Colorado
>Springs. Course, there's plenty of hiking around here. :-) I can help you
>in the Springs. I live here. We went to Philmont last summer. It's about 3
