[Philmont] Boundaries of Texas and Waiting List

Off-topic, for sure, but I gotta share this story:

Two ranchers, a Texan and a Coloradan, we having a cup of coffee at the
National Western Stock Show. The Texan says "you know, my ranch is so big
that I can get in my truck at sunrise, drive all day, and not reach the
other side of my spread by nightfall". The Coloradan nods his head and
says "yea, I used to have a truck like that too!" <g>

To keep this partially list-related, I got a reply to an email I sent to
Philmont. There has been very little movement in the waiting list for
2007. Only 56 treks have dropped. Not sure if this is typical, but at
#200 on the list, we figured we'd have another trek by early next year, if
drop trends are typical. YIS.
