Julian, you just might be right about Texas history. Depending on how far
north the Texans' claim, it used to be part of Georgia, SC, and maybe NC and
Virginia, as these colonies ran from Atlantic to Pacific (before the Pope
got involved, apportioning North America between England and Spain).
And to my Texan friends out there, remember, if the largest state were
divided in two, Texas would drop from second to third!
AND, we won't mention what a Philmont staffer told us during a campfire back
in '76 about Aggies, Native Americans and buffalo <blush>
