[Philmont] Female advisor needed for venture crew trek

We are located in the West Palm Beach, Florida area and we train every month throughout southern, central and north cental Florida. The weather here is wonderful during the "Winter" months for backpacking. We always welcome visitors . . .

I am quite aware of most if not all of the benefits of crews training together. However, in the case where our female leader has to bale out and we are left scrambling to keep from diappointing the young women in our crew, we would be happy to just get a BSA trained female leader with some backpacking experience and good references to meet us at Philmont. This is particulary true with the scarcity of female leaders with backpacking experience in our area.

We were very lucky in 2006 to find just such a woman from Texas that accompanied us on a Philmont trek with 4 young women in our crew. We couln't have asked for a better person to go with us on that trek. Now if you know any qualified females that would like to get several weekend backpacking vacations down in Florida during that long Wisconsin Winter, before meeting us out west in late June, then please let us know asap.
