Spaghetti/corn is delicious. As is Chicken Rice/cheddar bacon mashed potatoes. As is (how you say?) stir fry/ramen noodles.

When I was in high school I remember attending Order of the Arrow weekend camps. A required item you had to bring was a can of soup. Any kind would do, just a can of soup. We poured all the different cans into a big pot, stirred it up and somehow that "one pot meal" always ended up being a tomatoe based vegetable soup tom which our advisors sneaked in about 20 pounds of stew meat they had cooked ahead of time.
It was fun tryint to "out gross" each otehr by making a big deal of pouring in a can of clam chowder or whatever, but it was always good because WE made it.
Same thing goes at Philmont. Let the crew do it themselves.
