California day what other things do you see advisors getting into under the
umbrella of "health and safety"

On our trek this summer, the advisors "interfered" several times we felt
there were "health and safety concerns". The scouts didn't always agree,
but here are the cases:
- Sterilizing dishes in boiling water as opposed to pouring previously
boiled hot water over the dishes
- Avoid dumping large amounts of solid food wastes through holes in the sump
screen.
- Hiking on the trail as opposed to a road when both options were available
- Putting up the bear bags before leaving for program
- Calling for a "caterpillar" up Mt. Phillips to keep the crew together.
The old men and at least two of the scouts needed it. The remainder of the
scouts wanted a faster ascent.
- Holding up the crew when another crew member needed to treat blisters
I believe the blister issue happened twice, the others were one time
occurrences.
