Reread and want to clarify my remarks.
Our getting lost between these points may not be an issue in the summer.
What was an issue was the rocks on the trail between Baldy town and the
summit. From an ankle busting point of view it was the most dangerous
stretch of trail I have seen in my two AA trips.
In just about every case our getting "lost" put us in a campsite. I
guess with the number of people there in the summer it may be easier to
tell where you are than when you have the entire forest to yourself.
There are some things I can live with, having the entire ranch for less
than 40 old people is one of them.
