[Philmont] Backpacking Serving Sizes

What is the minimum amount of water needed for cleanup? Assuming Turkey
bags, I'm guessing about a 1/2 liter of cold water with soap for wash, and
1.5 liter of boiling water to submerge lexan bowl and spoon into (4-qt
pot). Is this proper procedure? We had some scouts with dishes and
frisbee's. I think the bowls will reduce water usage and allow dunk
sterilization.

Recommendations??

The only meal you need to "cook" in a large pot and serve fromo that pot is
> supper and that is pretty universal with all supper meals. That is why
> crews switch lunch and supper when making a dry camp and at a water source
> at lunch. Cleanup uses more water than the actual meal does.
