Patriots' Path Council's ten member Autumn Adventure crew will be off tomorrow
for a week in the Philmont backcountry. Four are repeaters from our AA trip
two years ago, four of the remaining six have never been to Philmont before.
Working plan is for a mini trek, starting at Hunting Lodge, over Schaefers
Pass, to Beaubien, to Fish Camp (by way of Crooked Creek and Apache Springs),
to Abreu. Of course, with Autumn Adventure, that is subject to change when
we arrive or while on the trail! Full report on our return.
