I've been through a few rangers and thier take on alot of things
changes with the years, such as "don't use rocks to hammer tent stakes as it
mars the rocks" (thats stupid, God placed ALL his excess rocks in the San De
Christos).
But we deal with the yearly changes as in "fluff your campsite before
you leave so it will not be visible", then next time it's " Don't fluff your
campsite so those that come behind will put thier tent in the same location
as not to disrupt the .............
Guess as with youth even at 18-whatever, we as "old guys" should be
accomodating, but sensible, my take on Philmont Rangers, for what thats
worth.
