Hello all,
In just about a half an hour, some of the members of Crew 922-2 Philmont Autumn Adventure will be begin gathering at my house. We will fly out this morning at 10:30 AM and head for "God's Country". We are part of "The bunch of really old guys going to Philmont Crew" from Buckeye Council in Canton, OH. We will have 6 Philmont veterans in our group of 8, but then Doc Vincent doesn't really count since he was last there in 1956. Had the mountains even begun forming clear back then? I want to thank the list and the "friends I have met in the last year and a half for all the info available. I am a 10 trek veteran but first time AA. I want to thank Alan Thompson and Calvin Gray for letting me pick their brains for information off list. Alan and I will miss each other by a day at the ranch. We will wave to each other. on I-25 going to and from Denver. To the rest of the list, I will say, "Eat your heart's out, I get to go back to Philmont!"
