Over the years, I have received quite a few private requests for advice from
women planning a trek. In order to more directly answer the needs of women
wanting to talk to other women particularly regarding feminine hygiene, I've
created a yahoo discussion group for "women only". Women are encouraged to
join to either ask questions or share from their own experiences. This
group is not meant to take the place of this Philmont discussion group, but
to be a special place for the questions some women don't feel comfortable
discussing in this co-ed forum. Memberships in this group will be approved
by the moderator, so men need not apply.
