Uh, I just ran this "virus" name into Google and the Symetec - Norton Anti-virus software site came up.

This is a hoax virus.
DO NOT DELETE ANYTHING.
Please read the above link.

It's always a good idea to do a search on ANY alarmest e-mail concerning deletion of worms or viruses.
As the above site states, this is a hoax like the one I received from someone last year.

Please forward this to anyone that may have gotten this hoax.

  Subject: [Philmont]: another damn virus

This e-mail has been passed down to me, and is NOT my fault! Thanx.

Here are the instructions for eradication of the virus jdbgmgr.exe which is not detected by Norton or MacAffee antivirus systems. It sits quietly for 14 days before damaging the system. It is sent automatically via the address book, whether or not you send emails to your contacts. Here is how to check for the virus and how to get rid of it.

1). Go to Start. Find or Search option.
2). In the files/folders option, type the name jdbgmgr.exe
3). Be sure to search your C drive and aqny other drives you may have.
  4). Click "find now" .
5). The virus has a teddy bear icon with the name jdbgmgr.exe. DO NOT OPEN IT.
6). Go to Edit, choose "select all" to highlight the file without opening it.
7). Now go to the file and select "delete". It will then go to the recycle bin.
8). Go to Recycle bin and delete it there as well.
IF YOU FIND THE VIRUS, YOU MUST CONTACT ALL THE PEOPLE IN YOUR ADDRESS BOOK, SO THEY CAN DELETE IT AS WELL.
To do this, open a new e mail message, click the photo of address book next to "TO". Click every name and add it to Bcc. Copy this message, enter subject, paste to email and send.
