Even if that was what was meant, I think it would point to serious flaws
in crew & staff training and wildlife management at Philmont. I don't
think that is the case at all.
If there was one death per year by bear at Philmont, I would bet
Philmont wouldn't be around as we know it.
If there were two deaths of adults at Philmont this summer, I think it
would have been in the news.
All these rumors remind me of being at Jamboree! Seems everyone heard a
different story, even if they were on staff. ;)
