[Philmont]: tyvek

I know we've gone over the uses for tyvek here multiple times, but last night
I was scouring the web trying to find enough to use for groundsheets for
my crew next summer. I found someone selling groundsheet sized pieces, I
found some on ebay, then I had an idea. Somewhere on tyvek.com, I found
http://tyvek.com/na/homewrap/english/directory/index.htm which has a link
to a "Specialist locator". I emailed the guy explaining what I was going to
use if for (groundsheets, tarp) andasked if he knew a construction supplies
place I could get ahold of some scrap pieces.

Well, this guy is bring a 9'x150' roll of Tyvek HomwWrap over to my house
this weekend, and donating it (yes all of it) to our crew. So 6 9'x5'
pieces for groundsheets, 1 9'x12' tarp... I'll have 108 feet left. Do
we have other ideas for what to do with tyvek? If not, I was planning
on contacting our Council contingent Coordinator, and sharing the wealth.

I'll probably save 30' for more groundsheets, but I don't know what else
I can do with it.

Just though I'd share my tyvek acquisition methods with the rest of the list.
Perhaps you've got a sales rep in your area who's as generous as mine.
