Subject: [Philmont]: Re: Autumn Adventure questions
Donnie,
We were at all of those camps last week on our AA except Pueblano Ruins.
Water is at the stream at Miranda. It is about 200-300 yds west of the
cabin. Plenty of water at French Henry. Water was running strong through the
camp. You might have to go up to the deep tunnel mine at Copper Park for
water. There was still water in the lines there, but I wouldn't count on it.
We had a great week basing ourselves out of Miranda and side hiking more
than 50 miles during the week. Great weather. If you see Kyle Robinson (our
guide), tell him the Ohio guys (907-1) said Hi. I will be writing a report
on our trip this week yet, I hope.
