My morning newspaper ran a story today regarding an off shore betting shop
that saw unusually heavy betting on one of the contestants before the show
began this time. They (the betting shop) cancelled all bets and won't take
any more because they believe that there has been a leak. They said that
they had seen heavy betting on individuals before, but it never started
until after a few episodes had aired, and fluctuated over time.

I watched the beginning of the first season, but once I figured out that
survival skills (as I define them anyway), did not play that big a part, I
lost interest. My son's always been a big fan though.

I figured it was her Scout-like behavior that didn't get her voted off. My
first time watching too, btw, but it sure seemed like people knew she was
being honest and voted off the dishonest person.

Sure going to be interesting to see what happens - who knows, the Scout law
may pay off yet :)
