alternatively, you can set up your mail reader to filter on the subject
of the message and ditch the thread completely.

The thread started as discussing a Scouter involved in the named show
who enjoied her treks at Philmont. (see, that word "philmont" links it
to this list) Sorry the thread has gone somwehre you didn't want it to.
Such is the nature of email lists, usenet groups, discussion boards, and
large groups of children.
