For all those who scoff at watching Survivor, I have to say that it is a
good source for teambuilding games in an outdoor environment. Frequently the
immunity challenges can be adapted to fun teambuilding activities for
Scouts. Many are simply more elaborate versions of games we already play
(burn the string, Hot Cargo, etc.). I wish Lill the best of luck on her
quest, but I fear the show doesn't reward values and skills as much as it
rewards gamesmanship. Frankly, I'll be waiting for the episode that shows
her conducting "Thorns, Roses and Buds" at the end of the day.
