We had one scout in 2003 who had massive nosebleeds nearly everyday.
Eventually, a staffer at Beaubein suggested he dab some chapstick up each nostril
first thing in the morning. While that did not completely solve his problems,
the frequency and severity of nosebleeds declined markedly for the remainder
of the trek.
