It is the lack of humidity. A local doc has hundreds of saline nasal sprays
he hands out for the problem in Breckenridge to the skiers. Some people get
sore throats also. Common ailment among mountains. You see them chewing
zinc lozenges for the sore throat and breathing through a bandana for the
humidity issues. I sleep with a surgical mask at night, seems to help both
when I'm up high.
