re: Horseback riding
Some of our crew had never done it before so it was a worthwhile
experience. If your crew has done it in the past, it's not likely to be
impressive. I did enjoy it myself as you tend to get a different view
from atop a horse's back than you do while lugging a pack on yours.
Also, don't let horseback riding steer you away from a camp. Even before
our morning ride, the crew considered Ponil a highlight of the trek.
