[Philmont]: Leading the Way Tours

We, too, used Leading the Way Tours. It was my third trek (and our
council's fourth) with Christine making all the arrangements.

This summer we were on the same day as another council contingent.
Christine had 37 people from Southern NJ - 727J and
60 from Burlington - 727I, simultaneously and never missed a beat
Our contingent came and went on two flights, so she had an extra plane to
greet.

We both had the same Colorado Springs itinerary but to her we were
individual groups each deserving of her attention.
Never did she try and just shuffle us along as one big group.

We had an old friend of hers as our guide, Del, who has been part of this
operation for years.
Del took a week's vacation just to come to Colorado and help out and get one
more Flying W meal
And when we went through the line at the Flying W, there were Christine and
many of her staff helping serve the food.

Quite an operation!!!

I already have for 2006's council contingent

She told me they are adding a horse ride option and more places to go and
see in the area.
