RE: [Philmont]: weather gear check?

For the latest "up to the minute" information ;>) you can also check
out the Sangre de Christo Chronicle [www.sangrechronicle.com] a weekly
newspaper out of Angle Fire. The "Weather" page lists the high and low
for the week along with precipitation - graciously provided for Philmont
by Marilyn Vargas. From the latest edition (Sept 2, - it comes out on
Thursday) the high was 84 on the 26th and the low was 41on the 27th.
They didn't have any precipitation *this* week.

What is the weather like at Philmont Training Center/Base Camp now? I
leave Friday for PTC for Scoutmasters Training and curious? Thanks a
million in advance! Yours in Scouting: Jerry D Bailey (I am use to LA
weather @ 105 yesterday @ Woodland Hills) (if cold have to buy one time
use cold weather gear)
