I hope you are joking about a 5 mile walk with 50 lbs in 1 hour. That equates to a 12 minute mile, which is actually a medium speed jog. That in itself is unrealistic as well as unnecessary, esp. at Philmont. At that pace, even if it were feasible for the entire crew, would not allow time to "stop and smell the roses", and the crew would miss out of a lot of scenery. Just my input.
