If the information was widely known, I'm not sure the server would be
able to handle all the traffic. And it could be terribly distracting to
be in the middle of a very hectic day at work and suddenly click on a
Phil-link. ;>)

We were struck by the same idea. Wouldn't it be great for all of us who
WTGBTP (and reminisce about it frequently) if the PhilStaff would
install Web Cams at a few key locations that could support Internet
connections? This could be done very unobtrusively, so as not to in any
way spoil the surroundings with something out of place as "high tech"
(no more than the solar panels and radio repeater antennas as some of
the staffed camps.) It would let us who love the place check-in live on
Beaubein, Cito, Cyphers, or even Basecamp whenever we wanted.
