This was the key to their success. They set their goals and expectations
on what they considered a successful trek within the capabilities of the
groups. Some crews goal themselves in racing from point A to point B and
maximizing every single program opportunity, even double dipping if
possible. These boys, err... Young men, seemed to set their goal in
ensuring that the entire crew finished and got enjoy the beauty and
wonders of Philmont. I would hazard a guess that it's that achievement
they'll remember best and feel the most pride 30 years from now.
