[Philmont] Albuquerque to Philmont

We are discussing taking the Train to Albuquerque, instead of Raton, to stay
a few days before Philmont. Hiking Sandia Peak or Bandelier, and/or
Whitewater rafting.
There will be almost 40 of us.

Did anyone do this last year?

What service did you use to get to Philmont?

Where did you stay/camp?
