Good morning.
Dr. Bob and Allen point out that many trekkers and staff have school conflicts in August, which is true. The same can be said about June. High school ends here around June 20, so some crews are done with there treks before our kids are done with school for the summer.
On the other hand, our kids don't start school until after Labor Day. Colleges and universities on quarter systems don't start school until later in September. In fact, the University of Washington started classes Wednesday.
So, if we make Philmont available to trekkers and staff who start school later, we make fuller use of this resource.
