Moving on to the 70’s John! Keep dragging your feet and you might keep your whole unit in the stone age!

  I don't drag my feet! I pick them up and set them down quite nicely thank you very much. In leaterh hiking boots at that. Stone age huh? I'll have you know as I've said before my old Scoutmaster taught me stone age value when he whipped out his overly filled Zippo and fired up our campfire one rainy evening. Yep, flint and steel.
   
  Kelty with a metal buckle eh? Nope, don't have one. Ketly's were sort of cheapo looking back then. Sort of like todays Jan sprot. I bought a Trailwise with a metal buckle and laced on back panel. Lemme see, that musta been in '66. Hmmmm, 41 years ago. Still works fine. Wonder if your Gregroys will be around in 2048?
   
  Hmmmmm!!! ya think they will still be making the necessary replacement parts for 'em? Like zillions of buckles?
   
  Well, back in the late '60's and early '60's the Keltys were the badge of a ranger at Philmont.
   
  However, the real rangers sported Trapper Nelsons or Bear Paws with their axe handles stickin's out the top flap.
   
  But that's before Rangers ate quiche or Ramen noodle flavored drink for supper too.
   
  Next thing you know they will be wearing track shoes on the trail since it will be durable surfaced and Crocs in camp since the sites will be durable surfaced also.
   
  What in the world is this world coming to? Where have the good old days gone?
